Today we will show you one of the popular carving: the octopus carving. It is made from different material. We usually make the carving from water buffalo bone or deer shed antler (local antler). Now this octopus carving is made from Tagua nut. The color of the carving is yellow. Sometimes you will find also the white color. We prefer to have the yellow color cause it looks more beautiful.

The octopus carving size depends on the Tagua nut size. The size could not be the same for every item. This material is difficult to get in Bali. It is only brought by the foreigner. We do not receive the order for this carving except we have the material. This carving is made in Bali by our master carver.
